It's time for an update! We are working on a new PC version!

You might have noticed by the number of server updates during the last few months: we are working on a new PC version. As a preparation for the upcoming mobile app we had to make sure that our PC program was up to date as well. There won't be any major changes to the design or features but the whole club has been revamped from the bottom up!

Here are a few of the changes:
- Stickers now also work in the private chat.
- Spam-brake for stickers and item links in the rooms.
- Double click for quick zooming.
- Your own avatar is now situated on the right side in the private chat.
- Different standard animations for standing and sitting.
- A better visualization of whispering in rooms.
- Various changes to the chats, loading times, logins, etc.

Because we want to roll out the new version carefully and safely we are looking for voluntary testers! If you are interested in testing the new client you can download it here:

Simply download the file, open it and install. Please let us know if something isn't working as it should or if you have any problems!
Of course, you can switch back to your old Cooee version at any point by deinstalling the new version and downloading and installing the old one from the Cooee-Downloadpage.

As mentioned before, please definitely let us know if you have problems, if anything freezes or crashes on you whilst using the new version!

PS: We have also reactivated the good old Random Chat for both the old and new PC versions :sunny:

PPS: A note to all users of Windows 10: when you open the downloaded file, you might see the following warning. To start the installation, click More info, and then select Run anyway.
